Alicia Patcyk, Certified Veterinary Technician
Alicia grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania where, from a young age, she owned almost everything from a rabbit to a horse. She graduated from Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh in early 2014 and got her certification shortly after. She has worked in different types of clinics ever since, though she has always enjoyed the fast pace of a hospital the most. Alicia relocated to Colorado in late December of 2016 after visiting for the past year and joined the Stapleton Veterinary Hospital team in early February of 2017. Outside of work she enjoys hiking with her 14 year old border collie mix named Nikki and exploring all the fun.
Amanda Street, Certified Veterinary Technician
Amanda was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from Colorado Mountain College in 2002 with an associated degree in Veterinary Technology. She relocated to Aurora and joined the Stapleton Veterinary Hospital family in 2017. She currently has 2 fur kids, a cat named Mia and a miniature Schnauzer named Delilah. When she is not working, she enjoys being a new mom to her daughter Leighla. Amanda also loves to play darts & watching football with her husband Ryan.
Brooke Shisler Brooke Shisler, Certified Veterinary Technician
Brooke is a Colorado native who grew up in Pueblo, CO. She attended PIMA Medical Institute in Colorado Springs and received her degree as a Veterinary Technician in 2016. She worked at an emergency clinic for 2 years before deciding to move to Denver. She joined the Stapleton Veterinary Hospital team in January of 2018. In her free time, she enjoys binge watching Grey's Anatomy, taking naps and eating pizza! You can also find her reading great books and adventuring Colorado style-traveling to mountain towns to eat tasty treats with her boyfriend and two dachshunds, Dabsy & Dexter. Brooke is also an avid fan of the Broncos & Rockies!!
Clinton Duncan, Certified Veterinary Technician
Clinton was born and raised in Akron, OH until 2014 when he came to visit Denver, and quickly made the Rocky Mountains his home. Growing up he always had cats and dogs which lead him to start a career as a Veterinary Technician. He graduated with an Associated Degree in Veterinary Technology from Stautzenberger College. Since graduation he has worked in many areas such as rescue, surgery, emergency, and now general practice. In his spare time, Clinton tries to get lost in the mountains as often as he can, as well as spending time with his cat named Captain Crunch and his Vizsla mix named Mr. Kent.
Ashley Meza, Certified Veterinary Technician
Ashley was born and raised in Cheyenne Wyoming. At a young age she knew she wanted a career where she could take care of animals. So, after serving 6 years in the Air Force she moved to Denver Colorado in 2013 to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. She graduated from Bel Rea in 2015 and has worked in specialty, emergency, and non-profit hospitals since. In her spare time she enjoys cooking/baking, hiking, and watching horror movies with her fiance, two cats, Sox and Lucy, and her dog, Eevee.
Ashley Dearborn, Certified Veterinary Technician
Ashley received her Associate Degree as a Veterinary Technician at Community College of Denver. When she was not in school trying to achieve her dream, she was caring for animals in every way possible. This started at a young age with bringing home stray animals and caring for them. When she was able to start working in Colorado, she started working as a Veterinary Assistant in Thornton. In 2012, she became a professional pet groomer in Littleton for 2 years. When she is not spoiling her fur baby, Abby a pit bull mix, she enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding and drawing during her spare time. She also loves rescuing more animals and talking about the importance of pet health to include spay and neutering of animals.
